Those of you who enjoy reading Force Fem/Femdom stories (and if you're a regular on this site, there's a good chance you do!) may care to check out a new story (A Nightmare in Silk and Lace) that I've just posted on Fictionmania. It's had some really positive feedback on the reviews page, which has given me the courage to draw it to the attention of my peers here. The story features alternative versions of two of my M&R characters and is influenced in part by the black humour in a lot of the great Force Fem stories by the wonderful Deborah Ford. Thanks for the idea, but that file is already in there. I've tried several ways of installing it, even different versions, and it still doesn't work. Well, it does in Konqueror, so I know it's not the flash player's fault. Oh well, I think I'll just have to get around to upgrading my OS. It's the only other thing I can think of right now. I have a number of other problems that I believe are related to that anyway.

First, welcome to LiL Parka! Have at look at the tutorial link in my signature below if you want to see how to get involved.

To answer your question, scores are no longer in use, and have no purpose. The score was used way back, when this version of the forum first came online. You used to get something like 2 points for starting a new thread, 1 if you replied to any thread, and 2 if someone else replied to a thread you'd created. I'm the heaviest poster in this area, so have one of the highest scores.

That system stopped when the Inetwork, a very early prequel to some new forums came online. Only posts in that area earn points now, but that part of the forum has largely been inactive for a long time, as the game finished quite a while ago.

So don't worry about it. There are big changes coming to the site anyway, so any point scoring will probably be overhauled along with everything else.

Looks that way, yeah, I haven't got the option in M&R either now I've looked. Melissa must have forgotten to add it when setting up the board, or she added it and later removed it for some reason. Hey ho. No point adding it now given the impending update anyway.

I can't say I've played in any other online RPG, so the first two questions don't really apply. I'll get back to more about role playing later.

Regarding #3, I don't think it really matters for many of the things I do. There are some things that I do in my religious community that have been done only by males (but only for strength purposes, not because they are forbidden to females). My work could be done just as easily by a female as by a male. But being a parent, despite having some tendencies or leanings towards traditional maternal road (such as caring or nurturing), I still look at myself as a father and not a mother.

Questions 3 and 4 are kind of intertwined, and will lead back again to 1 and 2. I can't say that I have really wanted to become a female. I think I have been drawn towards things feminine since I was a child, but I can't say I was unhappy being a boy or that I wish I were a girl. I suspect if I was born a girl, I wouldn't feel the same way about feminine things as I do now. It would just be, and not be the something special that i feel as a male thinking about becoming more feminine.

I recently had an opportunity to spend three days as close to living as a female as I could. I would have to say that I was pretty comfortable with it (except for the blister I developed on both feet which meant I had to do more lounging around than I had originally planned). I felt in between two worlds. After three days there still was a little bit of disbelief every time I say my painted fingers. But otherwise I was comfortable enough with myself. It didn't phase me one way or another having breasts on my chest, and I enjoyed being able to wear a skirt for three consecutive days, and not just for a short time each day. I was mentally comfortable with myself to spend a whole day out en femme, and even to go out and buy a newspaper in my own neighborhood. I felt melancholy when I had to change back to boy mode towards evening on the third day.

There are people with all degrees of gender dysphoria. Some are happy to dress in female clothes but present male (in public or private); some will only dress if they can fully present female (in public or private). Some wish they could transition, but for one reason or another never do. Some are on the path to transition. And some have fully transitioned. There is no right answer for everyone, it's doing what they feel best.

Until a year ago, I would only dress in female clothes, but made little no attempt to present as female. (OK, I did have one exception when I dressed for a long car ride, including stuffing for breasts, then decided to get out of my car and fill up my tank.) I would usually do it in private, although I would often drop off my garbage at the curb in the dead of night (or, a few years ago, when they used to pick up early on a Saturday morning, to return the garbage container to my garage). I rarely went any further, such as experimenting with makeup or nail polish. But I really wanted to experience wearing a skirt outdoors, in public, in just doing normal things. I didn't have the courage or desire to do it while still presenting as male, and an opportunity came up for me to go to a transformation salon.

After seeing myself transformed, I was so comfortable with myself that I didn't even feel nervous the first time I went out in broad daylight. It really felt natural to me. There was almost an inner peace, knowing I could go out, do what I want, and not feel ashamed or humiliated by my appearance or my actions. I now get a bit anxious when I can't get out for a while.

(As a side note on humiliation, it is something that doesn't really sit well with me personally. I know that the humiliation of forced fem is a turn on for some in their fantasy play. I now feel is that it is not only degrading to the player, but it also degrades all women. It has a connotation that women are somehow inferior to men and that by trying to do things more feminine, they have to lower themselves. I still get the forced fem thing, it's just that for me, I avoid it as being humiliating. This is true for me both in the RP world as well as RL, because in both I can accept myself, even if I am presenting as female.)

It's not that I want to become a woman. I wish society didn't have the kind of stupid strict rules about who can wear what. There are many times I just wish I could go out places wearing a skirt. Not trying to present as a female, but just because I feel like wearing a skirt.

But when I go totally en femme, I feel as if I am role playing in real life. I try to act more feminine in my appearance, movement, and even my voice. I am sure I slip up at times, and I know that I do not think like a woman. My thought processes and wording choice is still more masculine, more logical, and less emotionally driven. I still feel very independent. For example, I don't really like being pampered or touched if it is not an intimate situation or a handshake. I accept it (like getting my hair washed or dried at the hair salon), but I am not entirely comfortable with it. But dressing up and going out en femme reminds of the line from the song Whistle a Happy Tune from The King and I - But when I fool the people I fool, I fool myself as well.

So, in summary: I really do enjoy role playing as a female, whether online or in RL. I don't role play as a male online, and I don't really consider my RL as a male as role playing. I can't say that I am unhappy as a male, but I do find that I do need some female time as well. I enjoy myself at my approximately once a month outings. And I look for other opportunities to go out as well, whether with people or on my own.

Good deal. Its of course just a matter of convenience. I usually have both open in my browser at one time, but linking from one back to the other when using other devices like my phone or my iPad would be made more convenient with this feature. I am looking forward to seeing the coming changes and updates.
